Kurt Cobain's widow and daughter paid a sweet tribute to him on what would have been his 53rd birthday.
The Nirvana rocker tragically took his own life on April 5, 1994, when he was just 27 years old.
Today, on his 53rd birthday, he was remembered by his widow Courtney Love and their daughter Frances Bean.
Courtney, 55, was married to the legendary frontman from 1992 until his untimely death.
The Hole frontwoman, who made a surprise appearance at the BRIT Awards earlier this week, took to Instagram to share a stunning black and white photograph of Kurt.
She did not post a caption, but her fans clearly understood the significance of her post.
Frances posted this picture of her and her dad together
"gone but never forgotten," another replied.
Frances, who is now 27, shared a beautiful picture of her father holding her in his arms when she was a baby to her Instagram Story.
She added a green heart and a dove emoji.

Last year, Frances marked the 25th anniversary of her father's death with a poignant message.
Frances, the only child of Kurt and Courtney, took to her Instagram story to share a sweet black and white photograph of her father as a child.
She also spoke out about mental health.
The model and artist wrote: "If you are struggling with your mental health and need someone to talk to please do not be afraid to reach out to your friends, neighbors, parents, counselors, teachers or even strangers on the internet.
"Needing help is not a weakness. Lets end the stigma and shame towards the stuggle with mental health."

Kurt was 27 when he took his own life.
His body was discovered three days later by an electrician at his cottage, which overlooked Lake Washington in Seattle.
A gun and a suicide note were found at the scene.
Kurt had written: "The fact is I can't fool you. The worst crime I can think of would be to rip people off by faking it."
It was later ruled that he had been dead for at least 34 hours.
