Why Did Kurt Cobain Write FUHGAWZ On His Shoe?

Kurt apparently wrote “FUHGAWZ” on his left shoe to make fun of Eddie Vedder. Eddie once wrote “Fuhgawz” on his shirt just before a photo shoot, intentionally misspelling Fugazi.  Kurt apparently wrote it on his shoe to basically make fun of Vedder.

Both of Kurt’s shoes had it written on them in two different spellings of the name. 

The story behind this phrase is that Vedder intentionally wrote it on his shirt just before a photoshoot, misspelling the word Fugazi (punk band from Washington, DC.).

Since Kurt did not like Pearl Jam, he scratched his sneakers with hints in graffiti mode.
