Flea remember a conversation with Kurt Cobain at the concert he played with Nirvana

-Flea remembers the presentation with Nirvana in historic concert in Brazil

On January 23, 1993, Nirvana performed their second and last show in Brazil after a tour of the country that gave much to talk about.

The group led by Kurt Cobain came to appear in two editions of the Hollywood Rock festival, one in São Paulo and the other in Rio de Janeiro, and both shows were marked by the way in which the musician and his companions seemed dissatisfied on stage. .

In São Paulo, on January 16, Nirvana performed what many consider the "worst show" of their career, with very strident guitars, bizarre versions of names like Queen, Iron Maiden and The Clash, and the presentation of João Gordo, from the Basement Rats.

-According to the Brazilian punk icon himself, it was his fault for the poor performance in front of 110,000 people.

In both performances, the classic “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was accompanied by Flea, bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, playing trumpet.

The Californian band also participated in the event together with Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, and the musician was in charge of giving his contribution through the wind instrument that he learned to play in his teens.

The Nirvana show in Rio de Janeiro was broadcast by Rede Globo and a few minutes ago a follower of Flea shared images of that day asking, unassuming:

Hey Flea, do you remember the conversation you had here with Kurt?

It turns out that to his own surprise, the boy answered and said yes, he remembers the moment he shared with his late colleague from Hollywood Rock on stage.

All this can be seen, in an event that still had bands like L7, Alice In Chains, Engenheiros Do Hawaii and Biquini Cavadão just below.
