-Watch a video of Pearl Jam's reactions and comments following Kurt Cobain's death in 1994.
1994 was one of the most chaotic years for music after an unfortunate April 5, the death of Kurt Cobain was reported.
While the news spoke of an overdose, little by little the media revealed the tragic event in more detail and its terrifying realities.
Among the most outstanding reactions outside the band, there is definitely that of the members of Pearl Jam, who even offered a few words in front of the cameras of MTV (England), showing the deep sadness, astonishment and frustration that a situation of this magnitude deserved. :
-The interview conducted in Boston prior to a Pearl Jam concert showed how the band's bassist, Jeff Ament, truly faced a dark moment of reflection after an icon and friend left in such a tragic way.
The most important thing is that after Kurt's death, precisely leaders like Eddie Vedder took the microphone to pronounce the lack of mental care that exists in the music industry, and how very vulnerable those who work in it are.
In other news, Pearl Jam is having a rough time and Eddie Vedder, like it or not, has to take some time before things get worse.
